Volunteering

We are recruiting volunteer car drivers and office helpers. Your mileage is reimbursed, and we give you training and a free DBS check.

Who can volunteer?

  • Anyone with some spare time during the day, Monday to Friday
  • Car drivers who would like to drive our clients in their own car, with mileage reimbursed
  • People who would like to help with our administration

Our volunteers are part of an essential local service. They drive older and disabled people to health appointments, shopping and social activities, and help our office team keep everything running.

Why volunteer with us?

  • You make a real difference to older and disabled people in Basildon, Billericay and Wickford.

  • Volunteer car drivers have their mileage reimbursed.

  • We give you the training you need for your role.

  • We arrange your DBS check with you, and there is nothing to pay.

  • You help during the day, Monday to Friday, when our services run.

Would you like to help your local community?
